PROF.DR.ILKEN KOCADERELI

ORTHODONTIC SPECIALIST

PROF. DR. Ilken KOCADERELI

He was born in 1963 in Ankara. He completed his secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College and his higher education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry between 1981-1986. In 1986, he graduated as the first in his semester. In the same year, he started his doctoral studies at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.
In 1991, he completed his doctoral thesis on "Cephalometric Investigation of the Effects of Frankel 2 (FR2) Appliance and Headgear on Dentofacial System in Class II Part 1 Malocclusions" and received the title of Doctor of Science. In 1995, he received the title of "Associate Professor" and in 2002 he received the title of "Professor". Between 2004-2014, he served as the Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Kocadereli, who is well-known in his field, has 100 scientific publications published in national and international journals, 120 presentations presented in national and international congresses, and approximately 500 citations to his publications, has served as Associate Professor Representative of Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry Board of Directors; Board Member of Turkish Orthodontic Association; Member of the Turkish Dental Association Continuing Dental Education High Board; Hacettepe University Health Sciences Institute Deputy Director; Member of the Commission of Specialization in Medicine and Dentistry; Member of Hacettepe University Experimental Animals Local Ethics Committee. He is a member of Turkish Orthodontic Society and European Orthodontic Society.
She retired in February 2016 and joined Dentalium family. She is married and has two daughters.
